All production has consequences for our environment, for which we are therefore responsible. For this reason, at Pujol Verdaguer, as a company that specialises in transport and logistics by road, we want to offer an excellent service, not only to our clients but also in terms of environmental impact, always complying with the established regulations.
It’s worth noting that our location, Saint Charles International, is not only a strategic logistic point but is also in itself a solar centre. The roof of our 4,500m2 warehouse is covered in solar panels in order to produce solar power. In fact, Saint Charles International has the largest integrated solar centre, up to 68,000m² of roofs comprising 97,000 solar tiles which produce 11MWh a year (8.8 MW at the maximum peak). Our facilities have the most environmentally-friendly refrigeration fluids thus limiting CO2 emissions. This is our policy and our commitment to the environment; we are always innovating in order to have the least contaminating refrigeration devices.
Additionally, we work with fleets of renovated lorries, opting for more efficient and environmentally-friendly options, to reduce the emission of contaminating particles into the atmosphere, with the goal of complying with our corporate social responsibility.
